Adamstown Uniting Church

Adamstown Uniting Church

This historic church in Adamstown NSW, used Flexene to create a dynamic, contemporary community hall.

The project uses twisted wing walls and glass to flow between two different architectural styles. The main frame was constructed using plywood ribs cut to profile. Flexene was then screw fixed to the ribs internally and externally, then trowel coated with polymer render layers. Both the exterior and interior are then smooth sponge and paint finished.
